Are you a skilled mechanic and do you love big V8 engines, unique classics, modern sports cars, and motorsport? Then we are looking for you!

Hammink Performance, a company specializing in everything related to classic and modern American cars, is looking to strengthen its workshop team!

Who are we looking for?

– A lead mechanic with experience AND an MBO4 technical specialist with a driver’s license
– Passion for working on and modifying cars
– Creative thinking and technical insight; – Able to work on cars without manuals, able to come up with ideas independently, and potentially design and manufacture parts or mounting brackets
– Work neatly with an eye for detail; quality comes first
– Experience with motorsport, tuning, classics, custom builds, and/or restorations is preferred
– Able to perform diagnostics, including on classics, in some cases even without manuals or diagrams
– Able to read, speak, write, and understand English well
– MOT certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain it)

At Hammink Performance, we offer a challenging job in the workshop where you will also have the opportunity to grow.

What we do:

Including engine, gearbox, and rear axle overhauls, partial and full restorations, custom builds, tuning, and motorsport projects. Also extensive maintenance and repairs on all kinds of special American cars, from classics in concours condition to 1000+ hp supercharger upgrades.

From Hammink Performance Day to the Mustang Museum

A standout Belgian Ford Mustang at the Hammink Performance event in the Netherlands

At this year’s Hammink Performance Day in Oudleusen, one car brought more than just attention, it brought a story that connects two countries and a shared passion for American cars.

Local coverage from RTV Vechtdal reported the appearance of a “famous Belgian Ford Mustang” from Zolder, while other reports described the event as one of the strongest American car events in the Netherlands, filled with Mustangs, Camaros, Challengers, and other V8 icons.

What made this moment special was not just the car itself, but its timing.

From Hammink Performance Day to a Mustang museum in Belgium

Just days before the event, Adelbert Engler (64) officially opened a unique Mustang museum in Heusden-Zolder.

The museum, built from his former garage, showcases:

  • 20+ full-size Ford Mustangs
  • More than 12,000 miniature Mustang models

According to multiple reports, the Belgian Ford Mustang seen at Hammink Performance Day is expected to be displayed in this museum alongside the rest of the collection.

A lifelong passion turned into a Mustang museum

The story behind the museum is just as powerful as the cars inside it.

Adelbert Engler’s passion for the Ford Mustang began at the age of eight, when he experienced his first ride in a Mustang, a moment that would shape decades of collecting, racing, and dedication.

Over the years, his collection grew from a few model cars to:

  • Over 5,000 miniatures (2016)
  • More than 9,000 models (2021)
  • And now 12,000+ pieces in 2026

Combined with his full-size cars, the result is one of the most remarkable private Mustang collections in Europe.

More than an event, a shared passion

Podium!

As great as Saturday went, as much as a strugle we had on Sunday, fighting the car and myself. But with a bit of luck still had a great result in the end.
Together with our LS minded neighbour Renes_cstmcars we both made it to the finals for the first time, and put both of the LS’s on the podium, so that was really cool!

LIVE: TMCN at Hammink Performance!

Today Team Mustang Center Nederland is visiting our shop. Ofcourse for our famous old style coffee but today they have a technical day. The plan is to do some repairs and check a few things under the guidance of our experienced mechanics.

Also it is Kingsday here in the Netherlans so we have something orange & delicious!
